The Fortina Hotel Spa Resort faces south with magnificent views of Valletta’s bastion walls and with a 4 storey building that houses the world’s 1st Therapeutic Spa bedrooms. It is the ideal hotel to indulge in a diverse variety of Spa treatments, excellent cuisines from around the world in a choice of six restaurants and set in one of the best locations on the island. This resort is a haven of tranquillity located opposite the UNESCO World Heritage City of Valletta. Located on Tigne seafront, it is ideally situated just 10 minutes walk away from the numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping centres and public transport is readily available to very nearly all parts of this stunning Island - also available is the Sliema Ferry, which has frequent sailings between Sliema and Valletta. The Fortina Hotel Spa Resort is located approximately 35 km from Malta International Airport.

Facilities

The Fortina Hotel Spa Resort has an impressive catalogue of facilities sure to bring pleasure and unique luxury to the most discerning guests! Food, drink and entertainment: The Fortina boasts some of the most exquisite cuisine to be found in Europe - there are 6 restaurants (dine "around the world") and 4 bars. Sport, games and activities: 2 outdoor swimming pools including an ‘adults only’ garden pool, 3 indoor pools, outdoor and indoor Jacuzzi and mini golf. A well equipped gym with a large section of strength equipment and free weights and a separate cardiovascular section, aerobic classes taught by highly qualified instructors and the 4 Spa and Beauty Centres offer various extensive Thalassotherapy and hydrotherapy treatments, physical rehabilitation and physiotherapy, and also a hair salon and cosmetic dental surgery. Additional: Reception and house-keeping.

Rooms

The guest rooms range from garden or sea view rooms to those with a luxury outdoor spa. All include a private bathroom, individual climate controls, stocked mini-bar, espresso machine, in-house movies (extra charge), ironing facilities, hair-dryer, safe, satellite TV and telephone. Therapeutic Spa Bedrooms offer specialised therapeutic equipment (therapeutic bath with 7 treatments, high-pressure massage shower, Dermalife detox machine, spa for 2 people, stress buster machine, and large balcony with sun beds.

Important note: Some tour operators still send children to this hotel during the summer months of July & August which is a shame as it isn't child friendly and should be left for adults only throughout the year. The Fortina Hotel Spa Resort is reserved for OVER 18 ONLY with the exception of the period 1st July to 31st August (please check on booking).
