3 reason's why to visit the Menorca?

1. Culture:

Menorca does not rely heavily on tourism. Lace was and still is a popular craft in Menorca where many towns have been built on the fortune earned. Menorca has a lovely nature reserve.

Menorca's largest museum, Museu de Menorca, includes details of the islands archaeological past, plus the biggest collection of fine arts on the island. The Museu de Menorca is situated in a former monastery, the building is worth a visit on its own.

2. Beaches:

There are two popular beaches in Menorca. They are Cala’n Focat and Cala’n Bosch. Both offer a stunning sandy beach and have a great choice of cafes to help keep you fed and watered.

3. Cuisine:

As with mainland Spain Paella is popular with tourists. Visitors will find a choice of English bars and restaurants along with traditional Spanish tapas bars.


The Balearic Parliament to introduce a new Tourist Tax.

From July the first 2016 visitors to any of the Balearic Islands will have to pay a local tax when checking in to their holiday accommodation. Adults will have to pay around €1.5 per day but children under 16 will be exempt. More details and charges can be seen here.
