We only use the information we collect about you with your consent to process your enquiry or booking and to tell you about our offers. We do not disclose your personal information to any third parties other than holiday companies where it is necessary to process your booking. Please read the following policy to understand how we will treat your personal information when you use our site. If this policy changes then we will let you know on this page, and will give you the opportunity to opt out of any changes which affect you.
Why do we collect your personal information?
When you make an initial enquiry or booking with The Linden Travel Group we need to know your name, address and contact details to process your enquiry and speed up the booking process should you decide to book. We then securely store the information you provide as part of our customer relations process. This enables us to know immediately who you are if you make a subsequent enquiry and we do not then need to ask you for the same information again. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, address and contact details, previous holidays booked and brochures you have requested. The provision of any information by yourself that is not related to the processing of your enquiry, booking or brochure request is entirely
optional. When you view our site by linking from another web page we may store the name of that web page for purposes of internal auditing.
What do we do with your personal information?
We may use the information that you provide to inform you, from time to time, of special offers we think would be of interest to you or important new features or changes in our services. We also use the information to process any transactions you undertake with us and for internal administration and analysis. We disclose your information to third parties only for the purpose of completing your booking with us, providing our agency services to you and for the purposes of associated administration. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Protection of your information
In the UK we operate and are registered in accordance with applicable data protection legislation including the 1998 Data Protection Act. Our membership of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) also requires us to adhere rigorously to the regulations of the Data Protection Act. You are entitled to ask us what information we hold about you and to amend any information that is incorrect. We must ensure that the personal information we hold is secure and is only accessible by authorised members of our staff. We must also ensure that your information is kept up to date and that we will remove it from our records if you request us to do so.
